The Snake by Dule Talevski A speck of stardust lands upon her brow altered as a snake with a head of diamond demanding that I bow. She slithers in my mind, breaking through the gates of my unmountable fortress of reason. Shouting war cries as a knight illuminating a treasure hunt in the cloudfull starless night. Wherever she glides, the air vibrates in a hue of black and blue leaving behind a trail of rave, and broken down pieces of sane. With a pace insane, she ascends vortexally upwards my tower of rationale. Wriggling her way towards my chamber of secrets. NO! NO! NO! She penetrated my defenses! Took the feathered quill dripping black on a parchment of goatskin blank to write her manifesto of chaos. The bearer of dementia dared open my chest, unleashing the baby stars upon the darkness, waving the flag of anarchy from atop my tower of sense guiding them as a pigeon breader. Setting on fire my whole world with a bright flame, leaving behind a brimful of ash and an irrational shame. [Description] That sly enchanting smile! How I loathe it! I can see right through smirk of conquest. |
