The Fly by Yana Yazova Down the window a fly is humming . In the room just us two. Me on the chair and the fly on the glass. Nothing else can be heard - only the black crumb - in the room just us two. Its wings working nimbly. On the steamy glass it flutters And a devil quiet minutes still shuffles. * * * Lost in time I timidly look how you and me at two directions go... You've went first, I followed; for each other we'll become violent. We'll smile up where we wept 'll chat about what was our secret... But where we were... the others...hardly, will take this place and the endless pain. |
